Less is More

When it comes to application with Mineral Make-up, less is definitely more.  Because our pigments are intense and contain no fillers like talc, you don’t need the heavy hand you might be used to using with traditional make-up. Thus, our UltimA Mineral Makeup will last longer. First, apply your moisturizer  and let dry about ten minutes.  Apply the Minerals in thin layers until the desired coverage is obtained.   Traditional make-up usually absorbs light and accentuates skin imperfections.  UltimA Mineral Make-up actually reflects light, as light rays are scattered when they hit the micronized minerals so wrinkles are less noticeable.  You often look younger in our Mineral Makeup.

Chemical-Free Sun Protection

One of the best benefits of UltimA Mineral Make-up is sun protection, which is especially important while the skin is healing.  Our SPF is rated at 26, the highest of any Mineral Makeup on the market.  The titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in our cosmetics allow healthy light to pass through the barrier they form while keeping out dangerous ultraviolet rays.  UVA and UVB rays actually bounce off and are reflected away from the skin’s surface because of the nanoparticles in the Minerals formed from micronization.  A human hair is 100,000 time thicker than a nanoparticle.  The minerals are very water-resistant; making them well suited as a sunscreen for anyone swimming or participating in water sports.  They also have staying power in hot and humid conditions making them good for sports and outdoor activities.  Traditional topical sunscreens use chemicals, which enter our body’s systems and the higher, the SPF, the more chemicals they contain.  Besides the risks from the chemical exposure, they tend to irritate skin and lead to sensitivity.  Mineral make-up provides a physical sun block from the sun without the addition of harsh chemicals.
