How does waxing remove the hair?

Waxing removes hair from the root, leaving the skin clean and neat with no razor burn or rashes. Results from waxing can last anywhere from 2-6 weeks or more.

Does waxing hurt?

No, not really. Our Esthetician is trained with techniques that cause minimal to no pain in removing your unwanted hair and especially for with those with sensitive skin. The waxing takes so little time with little discomfort it makes sense to have a quick waxing treatment done instead of painfully removing each hair with a tweezers.

Who can wax?

Waxing can be done on male or female, young or young at heart. It is done on most all hair types.

What areas can be waxed?

Most any area that you wish can be waxed. You can be as bold or as modest as you want. At UltimA Medical Spa we use two different waxes both made from the highest quality that allows us to give you the best results. We offer waxing series specials for eyebrow waxing, lip wax, chin wax, underarm waxing, Brazilian bikini or hairless bikini waxing. It’s not uncommon to do the men’s backs, chest or beards, either.

Do I need to prepare for a wax?

Usually not much preparation is needed, however longer hair should be trimmed for convenience, but some hair should be showing.
